The installation process

Bano’s Turnable Toilet are designed with user-friendliness in mind, but the installation itself requires skilled plumbers to ensure everything functions optimally. H. Granbo VVS has installed these toilets in several different projects, including at Ranheim Health and Welfare Center and Havsteinekra Health and Welfare Center. Project manager Hans Edgar Granbo explains that challenges may arise when renovating older buildings, where existing bathrooms may have limitations requiring adjustments.

What’s great about the Bano concept is its flexibility – even though they’re mostly standard solutions, we can adapt them as needed – Hans Edgar Granbo – Project manager

During the renovation of Ranheim Health and Welfare Center, for example, the toilet casings had to be adjusted by the carpenter to fit certain bathrooms, while standard casings were used in others. “What’s great about the Bano concept is its flexibility – even though they’re mostly standard solutions, we can adapt them as needed,” says Granbo. The result was very neat, and the project was completed in 2024.

Experiences from installing Bano Turnable Toilet

Plumber Jørn Leistad, who works in the field installing these products, shares his experiences with the installation process itself. According to Leistad, the installation of Bano Turnable Toilet is relatively straightforward, which makes the workday smoother. “The toilets are easy to install, and the built-in handles are a big advantage for the user,” says Leistad.

Leistad also highlights the importance of good communication with us as the supplier throughout the projects. “Sometimes parts are missing, like screws, and it can take a bit of time with the postal service. But for the most part, everything is in the delivery, and thanks to good communication with Bano, the process runs smoothly,” he adds. He appreciates the excellent service and follow-up from Bano, which makes the workday easier for both him and his colleagues.
