Bano Turnable Bed

Bano Turnable Bed has been developed to make the workday easier for caregivers and to give users more independence. For those who are partially self-sufficient, the bed offers the possibility to do even more on their own. For patients requiring assistance, it simplifies transfers – with a single button press, the caregiver can lift the patient from a lying position to an upright position at the bedside.

This can reduce the time spent on transfers by up to 50%, and in situations where 2–3 caregivers were previously needed, a single caregiver can now handle the task alone. The bed saves time, reduces the strain on healthcare personnel, and provides the employer with a more cost-effective solution – while ensuring that users have a better and more dignified experience.

Product Description

Bano Turnable Bed is a rotating bed that provides extra support and freedom for users with mobility challenges. It helps the user transition from a lying to a sitting position, and further to an upright stance – simply and safely.

The bed features an adjustable-height frame, a four-section movable sleeping surface, and a fixed footrest. The sleeping surface can be adjusted from completely flat to a sitting position, and then rotated 90 degrees to the sides, allowing the user to exit the bed in a safe and gentle manner. When the bed is rotated, the lift function can further assist the user in moving into a standing position.

For extra support, the bed has split safety rails on each side, which also function as support handles when entering and exiting the bed. Centered under the seating section is an axle that allows for rotation both to the right and left. When the bed is in a sitting position, the user can also rotate for an easier transfer to, for example, a wheelchair.
